미주한인문화재단(KACF)은 지난 2012년 애틀랜타 대한민국 영화제(Atlanta Korean Film Festival) 개최를 계기로 출범하였으며, 영화뿐만 아니라 다양한 문화예술 분야에 걸쳐 활동하고자 2017년 5월 단체명을 변경해 오늘에 이르고 있습니다.

그동안 제1회와 제2회 애틀랜타 대한민국 영화제를 기획·주관했으며, 2015년 가곡과 아리아의 밤을 주관하였고, 2016년 삼일절 기념 K-Classic Concert 음악회, 영화 ‘귀향’과 ‘일사각오’ 특별시사회를 주최했으며, ‘홍성덕의 국악사랑’ 애틀랜타 공연을 주관했습니다. 또 2018년에는 영화 ‘귀향2’ 특별시사회와 도봉 서찬기 초청 한국전통생활자기 전시회를 개최한 바 있습니다.

2019년에는 대종상 수상자인 영화음악감독 김준성을 초청해 제1회 대한민국 영화음악 콘서트를 개최했고, 한국 가곡 100주년 기념 K-Classic Concert를 주최했으며, 2022년에도 미주한인 이민 120주년을 기념해 K-Classic Concert를 개최했습니다.
